Diving Bell Movie Club - Days of being wild + Short Feature: Fabric(ation)

Days of Being Wild 1990 ‘阿飛正傳’
Directed by Wong Kar-wai

Yuddy, a Hong Kong playboy known for breaking girls’ hearts, tries to find solace and the truth after discovering the woman who raised him isn’t his mother.

+SHORT FEATURE - Fabric(ation)
Directed by Emem Etti

'fabric(ation)' is an experimental Afrofuturistic film about the intersections between fabrics, textures and vulnerability. The film 'fabric(ation)' was produced as my final film for my second semester under the restrictions of only using unsynchronized sound within the film.
Fabric(ation) is a manifestation of fears, frustrations, desires and ultimately, the connectivity between individuals and the lack thereof. The film is divided into three separate parts with soundscapes created specifically for each respective part. 'Fabric(ation)' is a visual and auditory experience rather than a clear cut narrative story.
